All points are calculated thus:-

Best in Show 15 points
Reserve Best in Show 10 points
Best Opposite Sex (only if different dog from Reserve BIS) 8 points
Best Puppy 9 points

1st in Class 5 points
2nd in Class 4 points
3rd in Class 3 points
4th in Class 2 points
5th in Class 1 point
 
THE JULITA RAINSPECKLE WORKING TROPHY

Donated by Mrs Julie Revill

To be awarded to the Welsh Springer Spaniel (whose owner is a current Member of the SEWSSC), who gains the most points during the year from 1st March in previous year to last day of February in current year in Working events ie Gundog Working Tests or Assessments, Field Trials or Shooting Dog Days.

To win this award the dog MUST have entered and attended the SEWSSC Working Tests/Assessments in the current year, for which a claim of 2 points may be made OR the relevant points for their placing on the day.

If this event is NOT run in any year, OR your dog is unable to run due to illness or season, entry and attendance at one of the WSSC Tests will be accepted instead.
Claims to be received by 5th March of the current year annually to Julie Revill or other nominated person from time to time, and the Trophy will be awarded at the SEWSSC AGM.

POINTS TO BE CLAIMED

These are the same in ALL events, ie Advanced/Open Working Tests/Assessments, Field Trials and Shooting Dog Days, whether breed specific, minority spaniels or open to all.

If these rules appear to the current Committee to be unsound in any way, at any time, alterations may be made with the agreement of the donator of the Trophy – any alterations to be published at least one year in advance in the SEWSSC Newsletter.
